Culinary Experiences That Bring People Together

At Lithoveo Ltd, we’re creating meaningful food moments for the 40-60 community across Portugal. From Mediterranean cooking classes to farm-to-table dinner gatherings, we’re reimagining how people connect through cuisine.

How Lithoveo Ltd Started

We didn’t start with a business plan. We started with a simple observation: people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s wanted more from food experiences than restaurant meals and recipe books. They wanted to learn, to create, to gather around tables with others who appreciated good food and good conversation.

That’s what drove us to launch Lithoveo Ltd back in 2019. We’ve been building culinary experiences in Portugal ever since — hands-on cooking classes where you’re not just watching demonstrations, you’re actually cooking alongside experienced instructors . Mediterranean cuisine tastings that explore regional traditions. Baking workshops where you’ll master techniques that took Portuguese bakers decades to perfect.

What started small — just a handful of cooking meetups — has grown into something we’re genuinely proud of. We’ve worked with over 800 people who wanted to deepen their relationship with food and cooking. We’ve created dozens of dinner gatherings where strangers become friends over a meal they prepared together.

The Experiences We Create

We’ve developed four distinct ways for our community to engage with Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine. Each program is designed with your skill level and interests in mind.

Cooking Classes

Weekly meetups where we dive deep into traditional Portuguese cooking. Small groups, hands-on learning, real techniques you’ll use at home.

Cuisine Tastings

Guided explorations of Mediterranean flavors. We pair regional wines with carefully selected dishes and discuss the stories behind each one.

Baking Workshops

Master Portuguese bread, pastries, and traditional baked goods. We cover techniques, troubleshooting, and the science behind perfect results.

Farm-to-Table Dinners

Seasonal gatherings where you’ll cook and eat with a community. We work directly with local farms and feature producers who care about quality.

How We Work Differently

Lithoveo Ltd isn’t built around fancy equipment or pretentious cooking. We believe food should be accessible, practical, and deeply enjoyable. Our instructors aren’t Michelin-trained chefs who make you nervous — they’re experienced cooks who love teaching.

We keep groups small because that’s when real learning happens. You’re not sitting in an auditorium watching someone work a stove 20 feet away. You’re at a counter, asking questions, making mistakes, getting feedback. You’re building confidence and competence at the same time.

Small groups (6-12 people) for personalized attention and real interaction
Seasonal menus built around what’s actually available from local suppliers
Flexible scheduling with sessions across different times and locations in Portugal
Focus on techniques you’ll actually use, not complicated restaurant recipes
Fresh Portuguese farm produce at local market

What People Are Saying

We’re grateful for the community that’s grown around Lithoveo Ltd. Here’s what some participants have shared about their experiences.

“Wasn’t sure I could learn new cooking techniques at this point in my life, but the instructors made it so relaxed. I’ve already booked three more classes and honestly, I’m thinking about the baking workshop next month.”

— Rosa, 58

“The farm-to-table dinners are what I look forward to. It’s not just the food — it’s meeting people, learning stories about where ingredients come from, and actually enjoying cooking rather than rushing through it.”

— Paulo, 62

“I’ve done Mediterranean cuisine tastings before, but this was different. The instructor explained regional variations, food history, how flavors work together. It didn’t feel like I was being talked down to — it felt like real learning.”

— Margarida, 54
